Many people believe Coca-Cola has the power to dissolve a bone in a matter of a couple of days or unclog a clogged toilet in a few hours. Maybe you have tried Coca-Cola and coffee and nothing happened, but there are those who still believe you may get high for taking Coca-Cola and coffee. So much false stuff about Coca-Cola is being told and people believed it. Some say it was originally blue, or that a Coca-Cola mirror will cause sickness and eventually death to the bold ones who dare to take a glance on it. Also some people still believe Coca-Cola is a potent contraceptive. Recently I heard that Coca Cola is owned by Mormons but not consumed by them.

Cocaine derived from coca leaves was used in its formula, and after 1904, Coca-Cola discontinued cocaine as a key ingredient. It was estimated Coca-Cola once contain about nine milligrams of cocaine per glass of drink.
Kola nuts is used as a flavoring in Coca-Cola, but Kola nuts is also the beverage's source of caffeine.

The 2008 Ig Nobel Prize in Chemistry was awarded to Sheree Umpierre, Joseph Hill, and Deborah Anderson, for discovering that Coca-Cola is an effective spermicide, and to C.Y. Hong, C.C. Shieh, P. Wu, and B.N. Chiang for proving it is not.
The exact formula of Coca-Cola is a famous trade secret. The original copy of the formula is held in SunTrust Bank's main vault in Atlanta. Its predecessor, the Trust Company, was the underwriter for the Coca-Cola Company's initial public offering in 1919. A popular myth states that only two executives have access to the formula, with each executive having only half the formula. The truth is that while Coca-Cola does have a rule restricting access to only two executives, each knows the entire formula and others, in addition to the prescribed duo, have known the formulation process.
When I was younger I enjoyed Coca-Cola poured over a cup of strawberry ice cream which we called "Pink cow". Probably you have not tried it yet, but it is good. I wonder if Colombia may create the formula of a super drink that I would cristen Colombiola. Just lets wait and see.
